6 People, Including 4 Teens Injured In Jamaica Plain Crash
BOSTON (CBS) - Six people were injured in a crash that shut down the Arborway in Jamaica Plain on Friday afternoon.
State Police said an SUV carrying four male teenagers rolled over the center line and slammed into a pick-up truck carrying two male adults.
The driver of the SUV is 18, and was taken to Beth Israel Hospital with serious injuries. A 14-year-old passenger was taken to Boston Medical Center with critical injuries and two other passengers, ages 13 and 15 were taken to Children's Hospital.
The men in the pickup truck sustained life threatening injuries and were taken to Brigham & Women's Hospital.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. The Arborway was closed down in both directions from the Forest Hills Rotary to Center Street for over six hours.
