Aqib Talib Calls Rob Gronkowski 'A Wild Dog,' Clarifies That Broncos Wear Different Color Jerseys Than Pats
BOSTON (CBS) -- Are the Patriots better off with Darrelle Revis as their No. 1 cornerback instead of Aqib Talib? Maybe, maybe not, as both players are currently performing at the highest possible level.
But one thing that's not up for debate is the fact that Aqib Talib is simply one of the best people to interview in professional sports.
Talib spoke with Denver reporters on Monday, and he was classic Talib.
When asked if he would be more amped to play his former team, the 28-year-old said it's hard to tell.
"We've got to like put an amp meter on me or something. I don't really judge my ampness for the game," Talib said. "But I get pretty excited for every game though. So if I'm a little more juiced for this game, man, I guess y'all will be the judge of that."
Talib said he learned a lot in his year and a half with the Patriots, from the coaching of Bill Belichick to facing Tom Brady in practice.
"You learn stuff," he said about facing No. 12.
But he saved his highest praise for a man who figures to be a tough tackle on Sunday afternoon -- Rob Gronkowski.
"He's 6-foot-7, 200 and who-knows-what, and then he can run like a wild dog, man," Talib said of Gronkowski. "He's one of the top tight ends in the league. He knows how to play the game of football and then on top of that, he's got a great quarterback throwing him the ball."

Talib bragged a little bit to the reporters when he was asked if he was surprised to see the 2-2 Patriots turn it on and go on a four-game winning streak.
"I told you," he gloated. "You all were panicking. I told you they'll be all right. They'll be fine. They'll be in the playoffs. They'll win the division. No surprise."
As for playing in his former home with his new team -- the same team that ended his Patriots career last January, coincidentally -- Talib delved into the specific differences between the two teams. It was enlightening.
"In the home games, the Patriots wear blue. For home games for Denver, we wear our orange. So there are a whole bunch of things that are different," Talib said. "Everything is different."
That's deep, man.
