April...On Its Way Out

The jetstream is going 'zonal' on us. This will provide us a chance for showers from time-to-time from midweek into the weekend.

Today will be a beauty!

The frosty start will give way to high temps in the lower 60s and middle and upper 50s along the coast.  High pressure will be sliding to our east early tonight allowing clouds to thicken.

A low pressure center will pass to our south early Tuesday morning which will spawn showers after 2 a.m. Tuesday through mid-afternoon.

Drizzle and mist will follow to end Tuesday. Onshore winds will keep temperatures on the cool side in the lower 50s. Rainfall amounts are expected to be between .25-.50".

A murky start to Wednesday will gradually turn into a brighter day.  Highs will be in the upper 50s with a northeast breeze.

Thursday and Friday are proving to be tricky this far out in the forecast.

There will be a 1-in-3 chance of a shower on both days, but with the waffling back and forth amongst the models and the wind pattern aloft, I wouldn't be surprised if we squeeze out two nearly dry days.

This is the type of weather pattern that we need to play close attention to daily in terms of the timing out the showers.

Highs are showing a warming trend near 70 on Thursday and well into the 70s on Friday.

Welcome back to work and school...
