Another Quiet Day

All is quiet today as increasing sunshine tops our weather headlines.  This calm pattern continues thru tomorrow as clouds increase ahead of an Alberta Clipper to our west and a storm developing off the Georgia/Carolina coast.  Both days will have temperatures in the 30s.

The big question remains how these two low pressure centers come into play Friday and Saturday.  As I analyze overnight model runs, it appears the coastal low that develops off the Georgia/Carolina coast on Thursday stays well offshore, but as the upper level trough becomes more negatively tilted, energy from the Alberta Clipper and the offshore coastal low collaborate and sling moisture back towards Northern And Southern New England.  If this is the case, I'd expect a widespread snowfall of 1-4" with some ocean-enhanced pockets of 3-6".   With the fluctuations that continue to occur among model runs, this still has potential to take a turn towards a more significant coastal storm.  We are watching each update closely.
