Another Good One...
No complaints here...we continue to see temps near or slightly above the average and intervals of sunshine with very little rain...I see this trend through the weekend.
The pattern is more or less stuck in neutral with a front to our west and offshore moisture to our east. Over head is a ridge of high pressure creating our fair weather but it's also inducing onshore flow and this results in large sections of clouds along with cooler temps near the coastline.
Later tonight, some of that offshore moisture will sneak back toward the coast...clouds will be on the increase along with fog and a few scattered showers. The greatest threat for rain however will arrive Thursday night and last through Friday morning as a weak low pressure center tries to spin up along a stalled cold front. The system will be fast-moving and cruises out of here by midday Friday leaving behind another round of tranquil and seasonable weather for the upcoming weekend.
