There are more than 180 amendments to the casino bill that the State Senate will begin debating on Monday.
One of the more eye-catching ones calls for slot machines at Logan's international terminal.
It was filed by State Senator Marc Pacheco of Taunton.
"People are waiting around for their planes and they're not part of the actual competitive economy because they can't choose to go to another venue while they're at Logan. They're waiting for a plane. I figure we might as well give them something to do that can help the Massachusetts economy," he told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Friday.
"The most conservative estimate we have is that we can generate anywhere from 14-to-15 million dollars a year at a minimum at Logan and that money can be well used to pay debt service on transportation projects or for local aid for cities and towns."
"We have it limited to the international terminal but I would not be opposed to having it be at areas in which Massport and the security team at Logan feel that we're able to do. We're talking about areas that are beyond the security checkpoints."
If approved, the casino bill would allow three resort casinos and one slot parlor in Massachusetts.
