Amber Alert Issued Briefly For New Hampshire Toddler
MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) — Police issued an Amber Alert briefly Monday morning for an 18-month old boy from Manchester, New Hampshire.
Investigators were looking for 29-year-old Kelly Soucy.
They issued the alert just after 7:30 a.m. saying:
"(A) woman reported to Manchester Police that her husband had suddenly left their Bodwell Road residence with their infant child following a dispute, during which the he displayed a handgun and threatened suicide."
"Mr. Soucy left the address with his son and is believed to be armed with at least one handgun."
"Based on information at hand, Soucy should be considered armed and dangerous."
Manchester police spokesperson Lt. Maureen Tessier told WBZ-TV the alert was cancelled at 8 a.m. after the father and son were found safe at a hotel in Concord.
The boy is now in the custody of police while the incident is being investigated.
Kelly Soucy is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
So far, no charges have been filed.
