3-Year-Old Girl In Maine Found Safe Following Amber Alert
AUGUSTA, Maine (CBS/AP) — A 3-year-old girl who had gone missing in Augusta, Maine has been found safe.
Police issued an Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon saying the youngster, Lenore Wilson, was believed to be with a woman who occasionally cares for her, Fatima Gissentaner.
They said the girl was last seen in an Augusta apartment Monday night when there was a medical emergency involving her mother, who was hospitalized.
According to Maine's CBS affiliate, WGME, Lenore Wilson is safe and at the police station.
Police have not released details on the circumstances of her disappearance or whether any suspects are in custody.
