Allen Hits Floor With Celtics, Could Play Against Pacers
BOSTON (CBS) - After missing Wednesday night's win over the Nets and practice on Thursday with flu-like symptoms, Ray Allen was back on the floor for the Celtics Friday morning.
Whether he plays against the Pacers Friday night is still up in the air.
Allen was told to stay away from the team on Thursday, fearing he could spread whatever is keeping him under the weather. But his return Friday morning is an encouraging sign he may suit up for the C's when they host the Indiana Pacers at the Garden.

Allen is off to a great start this season, leading the Celtics in scoring at 20 points-per-game and shooting 57-percent from the floor.
What will be the telling sign if Ray is ready to go or not will come a few hours before the game, when he starts his normal pre-game routine of free throws and jumpers.

Keyon Dooling got the start for Allen Wednesday night, and would likely do the same if the future Hall-of-Famer can't go.
