All You Need To Know About Loui Eriksson
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins sent Tyler Seguin to Dallas on Thursday, just three years after drafting him second overall.
In return, they receive winger Loui Eriksson, a trio of prospects and some much-needed cap space.

Eriksson is the prize of the deal for Boston, and could fill, or at least compete for, the spot left vacant by Nathan Horton on the Bruins' top line come the fall.
But who is Loui Eriksson? Find out all you need to know about the new Bruins forward:
- Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli called Eriksson a "left shot right wing" on Thursday. He stands at 6-2 and 193-pounds.
- Started playing for an under-16 team in Sweden at the age of 11.

- In three seasons in the Swedish Juniors, scored eight goals and registered six assists in 18 games.
- At 18, was named Rookie of the Year in the Swedish League in 2004, scoring eight goals to go with five assists in 46 games.

- Was named the Iowa Star's rookie of the year in 2005-06, scoring 31 goals and recording 29 assists in 78 games.
- He scored his first NHL goal in his debut game on October 4, 2006 against the Colorado Avalance.
