All Is Calm...And Bright
Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful weekend! It's going to be a quiet late fall week.
Check: Current Conditions | Weather Map Center | Interactive Radar
We will have 100-percent sunshine Monday as high temperatures return to near normal in the middle 40s.
Watch Melissa's forecast:
A weak, moisture-starved cold front will produce more clouds late Tuesday through early Wednesday.
There may be enough 'lift' to produce a sprinkle or flurry, mainly for the Cape and Islands, on Tuesday night.
Otherwise, we are all precipitation-free until Thursday.
Highs will be in the lower to middle 40's on Tuesday and slightly cooler near 40 on Wednesday.
Warm air advection will be taking place on Thursday before a cold front sweeps away the warmth for a colder air mass.
Rain will develop on Thursday due to this frontal passage.
It's looking like it will add up to a quarter-to-half an inch.
The precipitation will cut-off by Thursday night and allow for sunshine to take over on Friday.
However, winds will be breezy and much cooler in the middle 40's.
The weekend:
Current models show a sunny and cold weekend ahead. Highs are expected to be in the middle and upper 40's.
Melissa :)
