Alexander Bradley, Man Allegedly Shot By Aaron Hernandez, Shot Again

Hartford police said Alexander Bradley was shot three times in the thigh Sunday night during an argument at the Vevo Lounge Bar & Grill.

"Evidence revealed there was a disturbance in the club that was pushed outside by staff," police Lt. Brian Foley said. "At this point, Bradley was shot. Bradley went to a vehicle, got a gun, then shot up the front of the club."

No injuries were reported.

Responding police officers stopped a car that sped away from the club, and an injured Bradley got out and fell on the street, Foley said.

He was taken to a hospital in police custody. Monday afternoon, he was discharged from the hospital and at Hartford Police Headquarters.

Bradley is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm, reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm, stealing a firearm and having a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Police say he was brought back to the hospital after booking because he began bleeding.

Bradley's condition hasn't been released, but authorities said he's expected to survive.

Police haven't announced any arrests or a motive.

A source told WBZ-TV Monday that the early indication is that the shooting appears to be a nightclub dispute and not connected to the Aaron Hernandez investigation.

Bradley alleges in a Florida lawsuit that he lost an eye when Hernandez shot him outside a Miami club last year.

According to a search warrant, police believe Bradley was with Hernandez in an SUV when someone inside that vehicle fatally shot two people in Boston's South End in July 2012.

No charges have been filed in that case.

Hernandez is being held without bail on a murder charge in the death of Odin Lloyd last June near Hernandez's mansion in North Attleboro.
