Agreement Again...

Yes we have model consensus one more time, this time however it's in the other direction.  This has been a fun ride and just think...this storm still really hasn't gotten cranking yet!  So now that the models essentially show a miss with no more than an inch or so for the Cape could it all swing back west?  Of course there is a chance of that happening...but a very slim chance.  Now that we are about to get inside 48 hours confidence goes way and if the models did take us on another ride it would be pretty shocking at this point.  Keep in mid that with downstream blocking, this storm won't actually get very far and will stall south of Nova Scotia through the middle of next week and it appears that there will be one more opportunity from this storm to give us some snow.  The models seem to be keying on one spoke of energy rotating around the backside of the storm interacting with an inverted trough and ocean moisture to give us periods of mainly light snow (maybe mixing with rain along the coast) late Tuesday into Wednesday.  If this materializes, a light snow accumulation could occur and we would get that white Christmas after all.  If not, then outside of a slim chance on Christmas Day itself we will be out of luck.

By the way, I think you'll love tomorrow...probably one of the best days of the month!  Sunny, mid to upper 30s and very little wind...awesome!  In my opinion, the wind makes or breaks a day...20 degrees and no wind I'm OK with it...20 degrees and a 15 mph wind and it's gross.

Well, have a nice weekend try not to model watch too much...it'll just drive you crazy!
