CBS News: Man Questioned By Police, Subject Of Apartment Search Not A Suspect
REVERE (CBS) - Local and federal agents are now saying the man police were questioning is not a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings.
CBS has confirmed that the Revere apartment officials raided last night is the home of a spectator and not a suspect. The Saudi man originally mentioned, related to the investigation, is not a suspect.
Several officers searched a unit in the Ocean Tower complex on Ocean Avenue in Revere for about 9 hours overnight.
CBS News Senior Correspondent John Miller reported Tuesday morning the apartment search was related to a man who is reportedly under guard at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Miller reported the man is a Saudi national who is in the United States on a student visa and that he lives in the apartment.
He is reportedly being treated for burns on his hands.
