After Losses By Conor McGregor And Holly Holm, What's Next For UFC?
BOSTON (CBS) -- Many eyeballs were glued to this weekend's UFC 196, which featured two of the sport's biggest stars on the ticket -- Conor McGregor and Holly Holm.
McGregor's made a name for himself with his quick wit and unforgiving attitude, while Holm made history by knocking out Ronda Rousey a few months ago.
However, both stars lost on Saturday night, and combined with the extended absence of Rousey, it's fair to wonder how exactly UFC will be able to garner major national attention for UFC 200 in July.
Fred Toucher believes that Rousey's loss, compounded by Holm's loss, means that there's no way for the women's side of the sport to ever recapture the nation's attention the way it did when Rousey was undefeated.
To help answer that question as well as discuss the state of UFC, Toucher & Rich welcomed CBSSports' Brandon Wise onto Monday's program to discuss what's next for UFC.
