Adobe Putting The Brakes On Flash

BOSTON (CBS)  - A surprise announcement from Adobe.

The company will stop all development of its Flash software for web video.

The decision reflects the concerns long voiced by Steve Jobs at Apple. He refused to install Flash players on iPhones and iPads.

Computerworld senior editor Matt Hamblen comments about that concern.
