Man Wounded In Shooting At Acton Apartment Complex
ACTON (CBS) – A man was shot and wounded in Acton late Wednesday night.
Police were called to an apartment complex on Strawberry Hill Road just before 9 p.m.
"An adult male sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive," the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said in a statement Thursday.
"The preliminary investigation suggests that a physical altercation occurred in the Strawberry Hill complex between parties that are known to each other. One individual involved in the altercation fled the scene following the incident."
No names have been released. The DA's Office said it was not a "random incident of violence."
No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
