Accused Terrorist Has Ties To Mass.
BOSTON (CBS) - An accused terrorist arrested in a plot to bomb a military recruiting center in Maryland has ties to Massachusetts.
Antonio Martinez's wife attends Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, and court documents show that she supported his jihad fight.
Martinez, a naturalized U.S. citizen who recently converted to Islam, tried to blow up the recruiting center, but didn't know the explosives he was planting were fake. It was all part of an FBI sting operation.
His wife is identified as Naimah Ismail-Hussain, a student and employee at Pine Manor.

According to court documents, the 21-year-old Martinez thought of nothing but jihad. He went to an armed services recruiting center in Maryland with what he thought was a car bomb. That's when the FBI took him into custody.
When planning the attack, Martinez told undercover agents he believed the military is waging a war against Islam, and his wife allegedly supported his efforts.
An informant told the FBI that Martinez said "my wife understands. I told her I want to fight jihad. She said she doesn't want to stop me."
Federal authorities say Martinez was carefully monitored for months and there was never any danger to the public.
Martinez's wife is not in custody.
