Accused Saugus Bank Robbers Appear In Court
LYNN (CBS) – Two of the three men accused of robbing a Saugus bank last week appeared in separate courts Monday as new details about the incident were revealed.

48-year-old Gabriel Megna of East Boston was arraigned in Malden District Court Monday on charges of armed carjacking, assault with a dangerous weapon and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
He was ordered held on $1 million bail.
Investigators say he has served time in prison for manslaughter.

His alleged accomplice, 38-year-old Michael Ginnietti of Winthrop, was arraigned Monday afternoon in Lynn District Court. He pleaded not guilty to ten charges related to the armed robbery.
He was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Friday.
At Ginnietti's arraignment, prosecutors said the robbers wore plastic masks and bullet-proof vests as they stole $5,200 from the Saugus Bank on Lynn Fells Parkway late Friday afternoon. One of the men was also wearing an FBI hat.
The third man, 35-year-old William Ekasala of East Boston, was killed in a shootout with police in a Malden parking lot a short time after the robbery.
Police said the men carjacked two vehicles as they tried to get away.
