Voters who expect to be absent from their community on Election Day may cast an absentee ballot.

The same is true for voters who have a physical disability or religious beliefs preventing them from voting on Election Day.

Ballots from voters who intend to mail them must arrive at their local election office before 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Ballots from outside the United States must be postmarked by November 2.

They will be counted if they arrive within 10 days of the election.
