AAA: Local gas prices remain steady

No change in local gasoline prices this week.  That's good news if you're trying to hold the line in spending if you're planning a road trip vacation.

The latest survey by AAA of Southern New England once again  finds self serve regular selling on averge for $2.68 a gallon.  The same as last week.

Spokeswoman Mary McGuire says a static oil market is to blame.
She says oil has been hovering around the $75 a barrel level for weeks now.

McGuire says the range of prices remains healthy and consumers shouldn't be paying more than in the mid-$2.50's and the low $2.60's.
