A+ Weather

Clouds along with a few sprinkles and showers will skirt extreme Eastern Mass. and the Cape/Islands through mid-morning.  Then, we can expect a sun/cloud blend through the afternoon and completely clear skies tonight. Gusty NW winds will supply a cool feeling to the air. Cold air advection will continue today and tonight. Highs will be in the lower to middle 60s today.

With clear skies, calm winds, and a Continental Polar air mass upon us, we will have the threat for frost to develop north and west of the city tonight. A Frost Advisory has been issued for several areas across central and souther NH tonight. There will be an even better chance for more widespread frost Thursday night.

The sunny stretch will be sticking around through Columbus Day weekend and into early next week. Temperatues will be coolest on Thursday with highs in the upper 50s/60sF. However,  a big warming trend heads our way this weekend. High temperatures will be in the middle 70s on Saturday and possibly 80F on Sunday!  Columus Day will still be sunny with highs a tad cooler in the lower to middle 70s.

Check out this 'Fall Foliage' guide on our cbsboston.com website for details about fall foliage conditions across New England. What a gorgeous time of year!

The waxing gibbous moon is heading closer to our next Full 'Hunter's' Moon on Tuesday, October 11.
