A Storm Or Two

Yesterday turned out to be a blazin' 93F degrees in Boston, making it the 12th 90F+ degree day so far in this year.

We will be basking in a lot of sunshine this morning, but a secondary cold front/trough will sweep across Southern New England this afternoon.

This will induce widely scattered showers and rumbles of thunder this afternoon and evening, especially for eastern and southeastern Massachusetts.

Highs will be in the middle and upper 80s... lower 80s on the Cape/Islands.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

On Wednesday, a surface low will come very close to the South Coast/Cape/Islands. The farther north you live, the more sun you will see.  There will be more clouds south of the Pike with a slim chance of a few showers skimming the extreme southern portions of our viewing area.  Highs will be near 80F.

Thursday and Friday are looking quiet with highs in the lower to middle 80s.

Beach & Boating Forecast:  West to NE 5-10 Kts...2-3 Ft Seas

T.S. Emily has come to fruition.  (Max. sustained winds 40mph...moving west at 16mph)

Melissa :)
