A Respite From The Extreme Heat
Wow! What a heat wave! The relief we felt yesterday will be with us again today.
Today, we will have more clouds than sun today accompanied by an onshore wind. There will be a chance of showers (north and west) this late this afternoon and this evening. Highs will range between 75-80F degrees. Those showers along with isolated thunder will spread across the area tonight. The showers will depart early Tuesday morning, and the sky will begin to show some clearing. Then, there will be a slight chance of a few storms developing during the midst of daytime heat. Highs will return to the middle 80s.
A quiet period can be expected midweek before we reintroduce showers and storms into the forecast on Friday.
I don't see any triple digit highs throughout the next 7 days...
