A Reprieve From The Heat & Humidity

The heat will slowly decline, and the dewpoint values will take a downward turn into the 50s.  This will happen within the next 24 hours.  An upper level trough will produce a few showers and tstorms this afternoon and evening (after 2pm).  Once this system moves east of Southern New England, we are in the clear for the rest of the week and the entire weekend!  More refreshing and more seasonable air will make its mark on Thursday and Friday. Highs will be in the lower 80s as we are graced with sun-filled days.

This Weekend:  High temperatures will creep closer to the 90s and the dewpoint values climb as well.  Mostly sunny skies on Saturday will be accompanied by temps in the middle 80s. On Sunday, we can expect temperatures in the upper 80s, dewpoints in the middle and upper 60s, and partly cloudy skies.

There will be a threat of tstorms Monday afternoon and evening.

Melissa :)
