A Perfect Ten

Today's forecast definitely 'makes the grade'! It won't be 'too hot'. It won't be 'too cool'. It won't be 'too humid'. This may be one of the very few where almost everyone is saying this is a 'perfect day in New England'!

It's going to be a sunshiny day with low humidity and highs in the lower 80s. With a south-southeast breeze this afternoon, coastal neighborhoods can expect temperatures to be in the 70s.

A cold front, which lack moisture, will start to make its mark with high clouds this evening followed by a chance of a few showers in spots from ~2am to 2pm Saturday. The front will exit extreme southeastern Massachusetts during the latter part of that time frame.  Once this front passes, partly cloudy conditions will return Saturday afternoon with breezy west-northwest winds. Highs will be cooler in the lower to middle 70s. Sunday will be a touch cooler with sunshine all day long! Highs will be near 70F inland to the middle and upper 60s for the coast.

Monday will be a sunny start to the week with seasonable high temps in the lower and middle 70s.  Tuesday is set-up to be a wet one with approximately 1" of rain possible.

***Night Sky:  The new moon phase will be in place on Saturday.  Here are more details on the view of the night sky.

***Before heading to the beach and heading out on your boat,  be sure to check out the marine forecast.

Next Saturday, September 22 is the autumnal equinox at 10:49am.

Happy FRRRiday!  Have a fantastic weekend!
