A New Tropical Storm...

Boston narrowly missed 70 degrees today...we hit 69 before the seabreeze kicked in but many communities did!  We'll see another gem tomorrow with highs reaching the mid and upper 60s with lots of sun too.

This is very interesting...the 2011 Hurricane Season lives on with the new development of Tropical Storm Sean today.  Here are Sean's stats...clearly it will stay way offshore but some of it's moisture will sneak up into Eastern New England and provide us with potentially some soaking rain later Thursday into Thursday night.  This will be the first precip since the October Nor'easter.  A coldfront will not completely combine with this system until it is further offshore so after a final shower early Friday morning cold air will come pouring in on a gusty NW wind.  Highs will be closer to 50 degrees for a couple of days.  The cold snap won't last long however and by Sunday we will be back close to 60 and early next week another wave of Indian Summer conditions.  Highs may actually touch 70 again!
