A Long Sunny Stretch

The sun will shine again today in conjunction with low humidity and high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s. What a beauty! A waxing crescent moon is now 'blossoming' in our night sky.

This quiet stretch will continue through the week.   An upper level disturbance will leave us with more clouds on Thursday and for part of the day Friday. Otherwise, we have 'no flies in the ointment'.  High temperatures will hover in the 75-80F degree range as well.

Labor Day Weekend:  Saturday will kick-off the weekend with sunshine and a very slight chance of a spot storm late in the day due to a cold front. Sunday will be partly sunny with a better chance of showers and storms in the afternoon.  Then, Labor Day may have a few showers in the morning as a cold front pushes to our east, but the sun will return during the afternoon for your outdoor BBQ's.

Atlantic Tropical Update: Jose has basically withered away, but there is a 'healthy' Tropical Depression 12, just off of the west coast of Africa, that is slowly moving towards the west. This may be our next named storm...Katia.  We will continue to monitor this system closely.

Melissa :)
