A Little Snow...

Remember the Winter Moth...it hatches in warm weather during November and December and at night when you're driving it looks like it is snowing. I spotted them in my headlights last night but it wasn't snow. Tonight, a different story, those are actually snowflakes in your highbeams! No worries, only a few towns will see a thin coating on the grass. I'm actually more concerned with the falling temps late tonight and the potential for black ice...please be careful early tomorrow when temps dip below 32.

Tomorrow will be a blustery and cold day...the highs in the 40s will feel more like 30s with the wind.  The wind direction will shift up for the weekend and again we temps soar...50s on Saturday and 60s on Sunday...both days dry...what a weekend!

Thanksgiving week on a whole will be chilly and for the most part benign.  Only one potential problem and it happens to come on the busiest travel day of the year...Wednesday.  Early indications are that a storm system will be forming on the East Coast...cold rain and wet snow are possibilities details are still a little sketchy right now but this could present a big problem for travel leading up to Thanksgiving.
