A Hot One

It's going to be a hot end to the week with low humidity. It's going to be quite a beauty today! Then, clouds will begin to build later this afternoon. After 4pm, there may be a few spot storms, mainly north and west of Boston.  A cold front will be the cuplrit as it heads our way from the Great Lakes.  This front will stall just offshore of Cape Cod/Islands this weekend. High temps today will be near 90F...80s Cape Cod/Island.

Saturday will be brighter northwest of Boston with more clouds along with a chance of on and off showers for southeastern Massachusetts.    Sunday is still looking sunnier to the northwest.  However,  the newer models are depciting showers Saturday night into Sunday morning for the coast giving way to more sunshine later in the day. It's tough to time out these waves of low pressure travelling along the stalled front just offshore, but that's how the forecast is looking this morning.  Highs will be near 80F interior and lower to middle 70s for the coast.

Early next week looks pretty quiet with seasonable high temps around 80F, give or take a degree or two.  There may be an isolated storm north and west of town though with an upper level trough nearby.

If you plan on heading to the beach or enjoy some time on the boat, here's a look at the beach and boating forecast.

Happy FRRRiday! :)  Have a fantastic weekend!

~Melissa :)
