A Great Weekend...

We have essentially spent the last three days in the clouds, we all could really use a little sunshine.  Well, we are going to get a huge dose of it this weekend.  Today's wet weather didn't amount too much (less than a quarter of an inch) and most of it is gone, sliding offshore.  While there will be some partial clearing later tonight, those rain showers have enhanced the low level moisture and therefore, more low clouds and areas of fog will fill in again.  Tomorrow, when you get up in the morning there will be areas of low clouds and fog but drier air from high pressure nosing south will burn those clouds away and sun will prevail for the rest of the day.  The flow will still be off the ocean so expect temps to stay in the upper 40s and lower 50s there and getting as high as the low 60s inland.

By Sunday, high pressure will slide offshore and SW winds will pump in warmth...highs will range from 65-70 except in SE Mass where wind direction will still be off the water.

Monday will be a tricky day, we will be tracking a backdoor front sliding south from Maine during the afternoon so temps will likely take a drop from 60s to 50s and maybe even 40s in the evening.  But, serious warmth will establish itself for the middle of next week and 80 will be very attainable.
