A Dry Weekend...

An upper level storm to our west will spin due north into Canada we will be on its fringe...close enough for intervals of clouds but not close enough for its widespread shower activity.  The cool pool of air associated with it several thousands of feet up will promote cumulus and stratocumulus cloud cover to develop...already we have a fairly solid deck out there and it will take a few more hours to erode tonight.

Tomorrow I expect clouds to form again and spread out across the sky limiting the sun similar to today.  We will once again have a breeze out of the west at about 10 mph.  Tomorrow night, the wind will go light and although high pressure will be building in for Sunday, I am a little concerned with that stratocumulus deck and its associated moisture getting trapped under a midlevel inversion leading to core cloud cover than is currently forecast for Sunday...certainly something to watch for as these subtle set-ups have burned forecasts many times over.  Regardless of the cloud cover this weekend the entire weekend will end up essentially dry...and that is key for all the outdoor events taking place.

I hope you enjoy...have a good weekend...
