Late-Week ---> Memorial Day Weekend:
We are looking at a similar situation tomorrow as a warm front rebounds to our north.
This will start a warming trend as we head into Memorial Day weekend.
A 500H ridge to our east will protect us from the storms that will be stalled to our north and west Friday and Saturday, but we will have to watch this closely.
It appears that our far north and west suburbs may have a chance of a few showers and storms on Saturday and Sunday.
Then, models are now suggesting a cold front presses through on Memorial Day.
This cold front will bring us the slight risk of a spot shower or storm.
That being said, we are still aiming for a mainly dry weekend.
This is one of those 'make-me-think-long-and-hard' type of forecasts, especially when it comes to a holiday weekend that many of us spend outdoors.
Highs are ready to leap back into the 80's by Friday. This weekend's highs will be between 80-85F, including Memorial Day!
