90-Year-Old Fan Finally Sees Bruins Win Stanley Cup Again
REVERE (CBS) - We're all loving the Stanley Cup win, and it's even sweeter for long-time Bruins fans.
Revere's seniors said Wednesday night's Bruins Stanley Cup victory was one many thought they would never live to see again.
But, no one at the center has waited longer than 90-year-old die hard Bruins fan Roger Naples, who has been a season ticket holder since 1938.
"After the 39 years have lapsed, no, I never thought I would see it again," said Naples. Like many of these seniors, Roger stayed up to watch the entire game.
"I had said before the game, whoever got the first goal would walk right through it. And that's exactly what happened," said Naples.
The Bruins championship has captured the hearts of people of all ages, but especially these seniors who have waited a long time.

"Nervous? Boy, I'm telling you. I was as nervous as a sheet hanging on a clothesline," said Naples.
Naples said when the Bruins held up the trophy after Game 7, it took him back in time.
"That victory, last night, meant the entire world to me," said Naples.
Naples has been invited to take part in the parade on Saturday.
