Local gasoline prices remain stable this summer

As far as local gasoline prices are concerned, it's steady as she goes.

AAA of Southern New England reports a one cent rise this week bringing the price of self-serve regular to an average of $2.71 a gallon.  That's also the national average.

Prices range from a low of $2.51 to a high of $2.99.  At this time last year, gas was selling at $2.56 a gallon.
