6 Red Sox Named to All-Star Team; Full Rosters
3B Adrian Beltre, 2B Dustin Pedroia, C Victor Martinez, DH David Ortiz, and starting pitchers Clay Buchholz and Jon Lester were named to the American League All-Star team today. For Buchholz and Lester it marks their first All-Star selection. Kevin Youkilis could join the six and the rest of the AL All-Stars if he wins the Final Vote.
