6-Alarm Fire Damages Triple-Deckers In Dorchester
BOSTON (CBS) - A six-alarm fire damaged three triple-deckers in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood Wednesday evening. The fire started behind 10 Fox Street but quickly spread to surrounding buildings including one on Juliette Street.
150 firefighters responded to the scene. One firefighter was transported to the hospital with a shoulder injury.
Nine apartments were affected and 29 people have been displaced.
The fire caused an estimated $1.2 million in damage. The cause is under investigation.
