5-Year-Old Recovering After Nearly Drowning In Lowell Pool
LOWELL (CBS) - Family members say a five-year-old boy from Lowell who fell into a pool and nearly drowned on Thursday is recovering in the hospital.
Ney Blut's dad says his son still has water in his lungs, but he should be fully recovered in a few days.
Blut was at the Raymond Lord Memorial Pool in Lowell on Thursday with his two sisters and adult family friend when he got too close to the deep end.
No one saw him slip under water until a lifeguard spotted him at the bottom of the pool.
Two guards and a nurse who was swimming at the time performed CPR and were able to get him breathing again.
