Gunshots rang out on Smith Street around 9:30 p.m. leaving three men and two women injured.

All of them are expected to survive.

"Somebody just drove by with their lights off and started shooting," one victim told WBZ-TV.  He was hit twice in the leg and wanted to remain anonymous.

"I heard the first shot go by my head and the girl just said 'I'm hit.'  I tried to help the girls out, then I realized I was hit myself."

Neighbors told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Monday they believe it was gang-related.

There have been no arrests.

"It's terrifying, (we) don't even know what's going to go on. We can't be safe in our own front yard without anything going down, you know, it's scary," a woman who lives in the area with her two small children told WBZ.

Police said they're looking for a silver vehicle that sped away from the scene after the shooting.
