North Shore Begins Path To Recovery After Blizzard
ROCKPORT (CBS) - With the blizzard of 2013 come and gone, towns throughout the state have begun to take stock of the damage and start cleaning up.
For towns along the North Shore, the damage and clean up are looking especially taxing.

While power has been restored to most residents, there is still the ice and snow to deal with after the storm caked it onto houses and businesses.
"This particular storm was very significant. We had a lot of structural damage, infrastructure damage, damage to businesses as well as residences," said Mark Schmink, Rockport's Emergency Management Director.
The Rockport boardwalk was heavily damaged, and seawalls around the town were knocked down by blouders and rocks being tossed about by the rough seas during high tide.
"We had a lot of emergency management, a lot of public safety personnel that had to come together to weather this storm," Schmink added.
The storm displaced four families, and forced 68 other people into temporary shelters.
The town has already announced that school is canceled on Monday.
