$336.4 Million Powerball Winning Ticket Sold In Newport, RI
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (CBS) - The search is on for the winner of one of the biggest jackpots in U.S. history.
That Powerball winner may be from Newport, Rhode Island. Whoever bought the winning ticket, worth $336 million, is playing it close to the vest.
The ticket was bought at a Stop n Shop on Bellvue Ave. That's right, the street with all the mansions on it.

Could it be that a resident of one of the swankiest neighborhoods in America just got 336 million dollars richer ?
"I hope not, " said one lady, as she was walking into the grocery store today. "Those folks already have enough money." Another shopper said, "I hope it was a group of people, because that much money will go a long way."
The manager of the Bellvue Ave. Stop n Shop doesn't think it was one of his employees. "No, all my guys showed up for work today. And believe me, I checked, " said Duane Maitland.
Whoever bought the $336 million ticket would still get $143 million after taxes, if they took it in one lump sum.
