3 Patriots In Bloomberg 'Power 100'
BOSTON (CBS) - While the New England Patriots are thinking Super Bowl rings right now, three of them are already among the most powerful figures in sports.
Bloomberg-Business Week realeased it's "Power 100" list on Wednesday, with Tom Brady, Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski among the Top 100.
Brady ranked third, behind fellow quarterbacks Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, with Gronkowski ranking 77th and Welker coming in at 95th.

The rankings are based on several on and off-the-field factors, including salaries, on-field accomplishments, endorsement deals and popularity.
Four other Boston athletes cracked the Top 100, with Red Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez placing 45th, Celtics forward Kevin Garnett coming in at 54th, Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas at 86th, and Red Sox DH David Ortiz at 94th.

Retired Celtics center Shaquille O'Neal also made the list, coming in at seventh.
Overall, the NFL led the way with 26 players in the "Power 100."
