3 Dorchester Schools Placed Into 'Safe Mode' After Nearby Stabbing
BOSTON (CBS) -- Three Dorchester schools were briefly placed in safe mode Tuesday while police investigated a nearby stabbing.
Boston police responded to the stabbing on Normandy Ave. shortly before 1p.m. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. No word on any suspects.
The Burke High School, Dearborn STEM Academy, and the King School were placed into safe mode for 10 minutes as a precaution.
Just last week a 17-year-old Burke High School student was killed and three other people were wounded in a shooting near the school.
