3 Charged In Milton Car Chase And Shooting
MILTON (CBS) – Three men have been charged Friday in a frightening attack in Milton.
Police say a 19-year-old man called 911 just after 9 p.m. Thursday saying someone in a car was shooting at him.
The man told officers he was driving home from work through Mattapan Square when a gray car full of people cut him off.
The man said he drove on to Brush Hill Road in Milton, where he took an illegal U-turn, and heard shots.
Realizing he was being fired upon, the man drove around until he wound up at a dead end on Union Avenue.
At that point, the man said he ended up head-to-head with the gray car that had been chasing him.
He saw someone get out of the vehicle.
Prosecutor Adam Lally described the scene in court.
"He was being shot at from the driver's side of the vehicle as it was being driven directly at him. He saw the rear door of the vehicle open and he rammed the vehicle," said Lally.
Fearing for his safety, the man drove up onto a lawn to get away, but his car broke down.
He ran off, calling 911 along the way.
Police arrived and arrested two men at the scene on Union Avenue.
Hours later, they arrested a third man hiding under a deck nearby. A fourth suspect escaped and is still on the loose.
Thirty-five-year-old Roy Jaundoo of Roslindale and 22-year-old Kevin Taylor of Dorchester are charged with armed assault with intent to murder.
The man found under the deck, 21-year-old Caiheem Kindell of Randolph, is charged with illegal possession of a firearm.

A 9 millimeter Glock was ditched at Wallstrom's Milton home and shattered glass can be seen where bullets flew through another.
"It's not something you like to see yellow tape around a gun in your front yard," said Al Wallstrom as he gazed over to the crime scene tape in his front yard.
Police are still searching for a motive but they say the three men in custody have violent backgrounds and they were driving a rental car and were armed with three loaded guns when they opened fire.
Investigators say the men did not know the victim.
