3 Arrested In Worcester Double Shooting
WORCESTER (AP) - Police say they have arrested three people in connection with a double fatal shooting in Worcester over the weekend.
Authorities say the victims were shot as they sat in a car outside a city apartment building just after 3 a.m. Sunday apparently in a drug deal gone bad. Two women sitting in the back of the car were unharmed.
The victims were identified Monday as 21-year-old Moises Nazario of Worcester and 20-year-old Victor Estrella of Framingham.
Three men, identified as 24-year-old Marcus Hayes of Northbridge, as well as 19-year-old Bobby Tran and 21-year-old Michael Anthony Wood, both of Worcester, are scheduled to be arraigned in district court on Monday on charges including murder.
It was not immediately clear if they lawyers.
The city has now had five homicides this year.
