2nd Man Dies After Brockton Shooting, Car Crash
BROCKTON (AP) -- Authorities say a second man has died after a shooting that led to a fiery car crash in Brockton.
Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz said 21-year-old Adilson Tavares died Tuesday of his injuries. Cruz said 24-year-old Valter Monteiro of Brockton died shortly after both men were shot late Sunday night.
Cruz said police found the men after receiving several calls about a car crashed at Revere and West Elm Streets at about 11:39 p.m.
Police said the vehicle had crashed into a car parked in a driveway and sparked a fire.
