Still Dry...

When I saw the sun out this morning, I got a little ambitious and brought the twins to the playground.  Big mistake...yes it was sunny and around 50 but the wind made it feel like 35 degrees.  Lesson...wind can ruin a day.  Unfortunately it will do its best do ruin a few more this week as the flow will remain strong out of the NW and very gusty.

Flow like this is very dry, in fact, we will see two fronts pass through tomorrow and we'll be lucky to see a raindrop with their passage.  The first one will slip through very early in the morning so clouds will be clearing when you start your day.  We will have lots of midday sunshine and temps will warm before the second frontal passage with the colder air into the lower 60s.  In the evening, the secondary front with the colder air will sweep through and another chance for a sprinkle or quick passing shower will be possible.

In the wake of that second front, temps will be chilling off for the second half of the week into the lower 50s...wind of course will make it feel colder too but the sun will offset the chill (hopefully).  Sun will actually be limited midday and early in the afternoon on Thursday as diurnal cumulus will form in the daytime heating.  The colder pocket of air aloft should shift east of us on Friday so look for a perfectly sunny day.

Over the weekend, the high will be working closer and the chilly winds will relax...highs should either side of 60 on Saturday with a possible seabreeze in the afternoon.  Easter Sunday still looks good but I am a little concerned with an offshore storm backing into the New England coast.  Right now though that scenario should hold off until Monday.
