250 Cyclists Ride In Tri-State Trek To Fight ALS
BOSTON (CBS) - Over 200 riders returned to Boston after participating in the "Tri-State Trek" to raise awareness for ALS.
They left Boston on Friday and reached New York by 3:30 on Sunday afternoon.

Mat Mendel coordinated and rode in the event.
While the heat index reached 112 degrees, he says the ride was a success.
The group is expecting the 270 mile bike ride will bring in a half a million dollars for research on Lou Gehrig 's disease.
