22-Person Group Claims $250,000 Mega Millions Prize

READING (CBS) – A group of 22 people, comprised of family and friends won $250,000 in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing.

Each member of the group pitched in $10 toward the ticket pool. They are now splitting the second prize 22 ways. Each member will get $11,363.

The group matched the first five numbers drawn (02-04-23-38-46) and missed only the Mega Ball (23). The $656 million jackpot was a record high for the multi-state game.

Victoria Flett of Reading claimed the $250,000 prize on behalf of the group. The ticket was purchased at West Street Mobil in Reading.

Five second prize winning tickets were sold in Massachusetts.
