21-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Chelmsford Crash
CHELMSFORD (CBS) -- A serious crash early Sunday morning on Gorham Street has left a 21-year-old man with serious injuries, public safety officials said.
Chelmsford Police said a car driven by a 21-year-old from Billerica hit a telephone pole around 5 a.m., ejecting the driver.
The Chelmsford Fire Department reported the victim was taken by medical helicopter to Beth Israel Hospital with serious injuries.
There is no word yet on the cause of the crash, but police believe speed was a factor.
